With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Simon knows the complexities of ensuring that design, manufacture, and installation projects run seamlessly. Recent projects include feature staircases in prestigious London buildings, which require extensive skill and experience to translate what works on paper into real life. Simon’s approach is straightforward: providing honest and valuable input during the design and planning stages with realistic cost and programme advice.

Chris Wood BSc

Chris is often the primary point of contact. Predominately based in the City his knowledge and expertise in managing large-scale construction projects are unsurpassed. His understanding of construction, fit-out and structural refurbishment make him the ideal choice for leading our tender, design and installation projects within the workshop and on-site.
Chris’s advice, suggestions and input have proven invaluable as each bespoke project has unique architectural and construction demands, therefore he and his team are resourceful and solution-focused, always thinking outside the box.
David Wiggins
Company Secretary
Following 35 years as an Accountant in the public sector and many years as the Accounts Manager at Arminhall, David now continues as Company Secretary. The role involves organising regular monthly Board meetings and advising the Board on governance issues.
Ati Csaji
Technical Director
With a Master’s Degree in Structural Design Ati has built his career across structural engineering, steel fabrication and project management roles throughout the UK and Europe. His experience spans technical design, steel calculations, fabrication detailing and site coordination having led businesses as Managing Director, Structural Engineer and Tekla Draughtsman, delivering high-quality structural solutions, maintaining strong client relationships, driving BIM and 3D modelling using Tekla Structures with the help of my team of Engineers. Supported by FEANI membership and Graduate membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers, Ati brings over two decades of international experience and a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project.
Simon Reeves
Commercial Manager
From starting in social housing projects Simon went on to work in the fit out market working for major players such as Mace and Structuretone briefly but his career was predominantly with ISG spanning over 25 years. During this time he worked on high-end developments including the Walkie Talkie and Cheesegrater buildings. Following some time off after ISG’s demise Simon Cornwell and Simon met up and from that meeting he has joined Arminhall as Commercial Manager, learning new challenges as he enjoys his career from the flip side as Contractor.
Michael Brown
Senior Estimator
Michael as Estimator is the contact for clients undertaking prestigious city developments as well as acting as the point of contact for sales to local builders regarding general steel enquiries.
Having a solid background in structural steel Michael has developed a comprehensive understanding of intricate metalwork and feature staircases through the projects that Arminhall have been involved with.
Tim Kemp
Projects Manager
Tim has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and over 25 years’ experience working in the Manufacturing and Construction Industry, specialising in both Structural and Architectural Steelwork. Works have included new builds through to large scale structural refurbishments on major projects of note in the City. Based in London Tim oversees the smooth running of projects from start to finish, liaising closely with Site Management, Engineers and Architects to ensure that the project is designed and delivered on time. Tim supports the Site Installation teams and works closely with Alan, Production Manager, organising jobs’ site programme dates.
Andy Howes
Project Manager
Andy has over 35 years experience in structural and architectural steel work. He began as a steel erector progressing to coded welder and fabricator and in 2008 started his own steel erecting business sub-contracting for many companies in the UK. After working for Arminhall for several years Andy was invited to join the company as Site Manager and has subsequently been promoted to Project Manager.
Alan Clark
Production Manager
Alan manages our two workshops and is responsible for everything from purchasing, factory production control to finishing and deliveries. Everything that passes through our workshops is overseen by Alan.
Teresa Wood
Health & Safety Manager
Teresa’s role is to work with all members of the Arminhall team to ensure that safety and health is maintained across the business; from fabrication in the workshops through to installation on site.
Teresa brings a wealth of management experience from a variety of industries to the role. She completed her NEBOSH Certificate in Construction before joining the team in 2022 and is currently working towards her TechIOSH.
Ella Aken
Office Manager
Ella is the point of contact at our office in Saffron Walden. Ever friendly and professional she will make sure your enquiry is dealt with quickly and efficiently. Ella manages Arminhall’s admin and the smooth running of the office. She is our FORS practitioner and ensures the team can operate efficiently.
Vicki Cross
Accounts Manager
Vicki brings a wealth of experience to Arminhall having a solid background in all aspects of accounts. Her responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable, receivable, and financial forecasting.
Fred Bright
Trainee Estimator
Freddie has a good working knowledge of the manufacturing process gained over the past five years working in the engineering industry. He is the point of contact for local builders and customers and assists the Senior Estimator on the prestigious city projects.
Alice Cornwell
Sustainability Manager
Having joined Arminhall in a marketing role Alice is now championing Sustainability throughout the company and is pleased that the recent ISO 14001 accreditation, as well as signing up to the Supply Chain Sustainability School for on-going development and training, means that Arminhall has a clear and committed role in managing its Environmental impact.
